We will be going to The Melia Tropical Caribe in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. This is a beautiful 5 star resort!(check it out online for all the info on the resorts, plus the pics!!)
We will be leaving April 19th, 2009.
The total cost of the trip will be approx. $1485, this is an awesome deal! Everyone will be happy to hear that a couple of rounds of golf will be included.
Children are also able to go to this resort.
We need to each put a deposit of $200, plus at that time you must pay for your insurance, if you choose to acquire it.
To book the trip you must provide your full name,AS STATED ON YOUR PASSPORT as well as your date of birth.
We are booking the trip though CAA travel, though Noreen Kealey You may go in to see Noreen to book, or you can call Noreen and provide your credit card number and she can process it for you, to do so you must also send an e-mail to Noreen stating that she may charge the deposit to your credit card, As for flight times, we will not know until closer to the date.
After you make your deposit you have until 60 days before the trip to pay the remaining balance, you may chose to make payments whenever you would like.

Its all pretty simple, easiest thing to to is call or e-mail Noreen and give her your credit card number, name and birth date...and BAM your booked!!

Please note that the price, $1485 per person bas based on double occupancy, that is to 2 people per room, if you wish to have a room be yourself the price will be more.
Also I have a bunch of passport applications and passport renewal forms here, at our house if anyone needs one.

OK everyone the wedding date is now confirmed! The wedding will take place Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at 11:00am!!
You can now still book your trip with Noreen at CAA Travel. The group rate of $1408( taxes included!) is extended, but with some limited spaces, so get on to booking! So far 29 people have contacted Noreen and booked!! It is going to be an awesome trip for everyone!!
The Melia is a 5 Star resort with Golf, a casino, a new shopping mall, many different restaurants and bars...and did we mention its ALL INCLUSIVE!!! :)

I had a question about payment....It still is the same...a deposit of $200 is need to book, the remaining cost is not due until 60 days before the trip. You can chose to make payments as often as you like...or you can wait until 2 moths before the trip to pay it off...up to you! Your deposit can be charged to a credit card.

Please note the date of the wedding and trip may change to February or March as the weather will be better during this time...and we want HOT HOT days right!!!!!
We are currently waiting for some quotes for some beautiful resorts and we will keep you updated!!

If you don't already have one now is the time to get it! Passports can take a couple of months to process, any post office can hook you up with a passport application.
